We thought you would enjoy these 'before and after' photos. The first was taken in 2006 after Cyclone Monica; the rest during the last two months of 2008. And thank you to a terrific road crew who always made sure our tour vehicles were never held up for long!
A Happy 2009 - and a great new road!
Guurrbi is celebrating a wonderful new stretch of road between Cooktown and Hope Vale, which means that visitors wishing to take our self-drive tour options no longer need a 4wd to reach the Nugal rock art sites. Now all vehicles, except those with very low road clearance, can be used.
